I'm a fourth-year software engineering student at the University of Waterloo. I've self-learnt AI and deep learning in the last 5 years mostly by completing publicly available advanced-undergraduate and graduate-level AI courses in my free time and posting my solutions on my GitHub. I've documented my experiences here. During a machine learning research internship at the University of Waterloo, I co-authored a couple computer vision papers. Through these courses and other experiences, I've learnt about and implemented pretty much every major deep learning model out there. In general, my skillset and interests within AI span a wide range: computer vision, LLMs, generative models (e.g., diffusion), reinforcement learning, GPU programming (CUDA) and efficient machine learning methods. My personal goal is to gain considerable breath and depth in the field of AI and deep learning. I'm also building a campus navigation app for the University of Waterloo which should come out in a month or so. |
